Position: PICO FAE

Job Description:

Synfora is the leader in complex application engine creation for consumer ICs. Synfora’s PICO technology enables SoC designers to synthesize & verify complex applications engines for consumer applications such as digital video/audio, imaging, security, & wireless, starting from un-timed sequential C algorithms.

The PICO FAE will assist Synfora’s customers in design projects using PICO tools by providing expert consulting, example designs, training, and support. The FAE will also be responsible for creating & demonstrating reference designs targeting applications such as video/audio, imaging, security, & wireless.

Experience and Education:

• BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
• 2+ years hands-on industry experience; experience in a customer-facing role is highly desirable
• Strong background in hardware design/architecture as well in software development using C/C++
• Exposure to video/audio, imaging, security, wireless designs is highly desirable
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, or Python is desired
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently both domestically as well as internationally

Position: PICO FPGA CAE

Job Description:

Synfora's PICO technology enables SoC designers to synthesize & verify complex applications engines for consumer applications such as digital video/audio, imaging, security, & wireless, starting from un-timed sequential C algorithms.

The PICO FPGA CAE will work closely with the Synfora software development team to productize PICO technology for the FPGA market. He/she will also be responsible for working closely with FPGA vendors & partners to understand the requirements for integrating PICO generated hardware into industry-standard FPGA design flows, and to understand the requirements for optimizing PICO's quality-of-results for FPGA devices. In addition, the PICO FPGA CAE will also work closely with strategic Synfora customers to help establish PICO in the FPGA market.

Experience and Education:
