Mr. Simon Napper
Mr. Simon Napper, President and CEO, joined Synfora in May 2003. From 1999 to 2002, Simon was the CEO of InnoLogic Systems, an EDA company in the formal verification market. At InnoLogic Systems, Simon drove the initial company positioning and sales. He was responsible for setting up the sales channel and focusing product direction. From 1996 - 1999, Simon was VP of Marketing for Aisys, where he was responsible for positioning, product strategy and lead generation. Prior to Aisys, Simon was Vice President of Marketing for EPIC Design Technology. From 1986 to 1992, he was VP Marketing for Tools and Advanced ASIC Products for LSI Logic. Simon holds a BSEE degree from Brunel University in London, England.

Dr. Vinod Kathail
Dr. Vinod Kathail, Founder and CTO, had been the R&D Program Manager and a principal scientist in the Compiler and Architecture Research (CAR) Program at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and had overall responsibility for the PICO project. Vinod joined Hewlett Packard Labs in 1990 as a member of the team that was working on a new style of parallel computer architecture, now known as EPIC. He co-invented many architectural concepts such as data speculation and a new instruction set for predicated execution. Vinod was the Chief Architect for the research compiler, called Elcor, developed by CAR. He helped invent novel compiler techniques such as critical path reduction techniques for loop and scalar codes. Vinod was the Chief Architect for the PICO system prior to assuming its overall management responsibilities. Vinod received his Doctor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, his M. Tech. Degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), and his B. Tech. degree from Maulana Azad College of Technology.

Mr. Sunil Ashtaputre
Mr. Sunil Ashtaputre, Vice President of Engineering, joined Synfora in January 2006. Sunil joins Synfora from Synplicity, where he served as Vice President of ASIC Synthesis. At Synplicity, Sunil was responsible for all ASIC Synthesis and Physical Synthesis tools. Prior to joining Synplicity, Sunil was Director of EDA Software for the Silicon Architects Group at Synopsys. Before that, he worked on floorplanning, placement, & routing software at VLSI Technology, Compass Design Automation, and Seattle SIlicon. Sunil holds five patents related to techniques for placement and routing of ASIC designs. Sunil holds a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Bombay, and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Mr.
Andrew Haines
Mr. Andrew Haines, Vice President of Marketing, joined Synfora in September
2009. He has over 30 years experience in marketing high-technology semiconductor
and electronic design automation products. His previous experience includes
successful marketing organization development, positioning for the IPO,
business strategy development, new product planning, product marketing,
marketing communications and OEM license negotiation. Mostly recently,
prior to joining Synfora, he held positions of: Vice President of Marketing
at Synopsys, Inc. and Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Synplicity,
Inc. Mr. Haines joined Synplicity in 1996 where he directed the marketing
activities from initial market entry through the successful IPO and then
led the marketing effort for Synplicity as a public company. Earlier
positions include Director of Marketing, Actel Corporation; ASIC Strategic
Marketing Manager; VLSI Technology, Inc.; and Major Accounts Marketing
Manager, Intel Corporation. He holds a B.S in Physics from the University
of Wisconsin.

Mr.
Bruce Costello
Mr. Bruce Costello, Worldwide Vice President of Sales, joined Synfora
in May 2009. With more than 24 years of sales and business development
experience, Mr. Costello has a record of success in developing high-performance
teams in a short period of time, both domestically and internationally.
His expertise includes strategic planning, recruitment, training and
staff development, and field development. He has built and led teams
selling a diverse range of software and services, including EDA, mechanical
design, project planning, lifecycle management and technical documentation
authoring applications, across a broad range of industries, including
defense and aerospace, automotive, hi-tech and medical. Prior to joining
Synfora, Mr. Costello was Vice President of Sales at Right Hemisphere,
the leading provider of enterprise product communication and collaboration
solutions. He previously served as Fellow and Vice President of Sales
at Cadence Design Systems, and his experience also includes regional
sales management at EDS (Electronic Data Systems).
